New Helical Broaching Machine

Our latest helical broaching machine for large workpiece diameters with a maximum pulling force of 100 tonnes is opening a new chapter in terms of broaching performance. Unlike previous machines of this performance class, the drive is not of a hydraulic design, having instead modern electromechanical controlling elements. Two three-phase motors transfer the rotary forces to the lifting table via Transroll spindles. The advantages of this machine concept lie in the drive's high static and dynamic rigidity and the excellent control quality. This enables speed fluctuations caused by load changes across the broaching stroke to be effectively prevented, thereby allowing constant cutting speeds to be achieved.
